Tour Highlights: In just 13 day-tour to visit the highlights of China: the GreatWall, and the Summer Palace. Visit Taiyuan, the capital city of Shanxi Province and theJinci Temple. Visit the Terra- cotta Warriors Museum, home to more than 6000 life-size terra-cotta warriors and horses excavated from the tomb of the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty in Xian. Visit in Shanghai: the elegant Yu Garden, Shanghai old city area and Nanjing Shopping Street. Visit in Suzhou: the Humble Administrator Garden, the old village Tongli, the Garden of Retreat and Retrospect and the old canals in the town.

Arrive in Beijing and transfer to hotel. Visit
Tiananmen Square, the largest city center square
in the world, Summer Palace where the Empress
dowager Ci Xi would escape the heat of the city.
Evening Peking Duck Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

The highlight today is
a full-day excursion to the Great Wall, the longest
man-made object in the world. In the afternoon,
you will visit one of the Ming Tombs - Changling
Tombs, the Sacred Road and Cloisonne Factory.

Day 3

- Datong (374km, 7h20 train), B+L+D
Visit Purple Forbidden City, the largest imperial
palace all over the world and have Hutong, the
old residence of local habitants by pedicab; and
Temple of Heaven. Enjoy a lunch in local families.
Enjoy Peking Opera in the evening. Take train
to Datong. Overnight on train.

Arrive in Datong. Visit Yungang Grottoes, Huayan
Temple, Shanhua Temple and Nine-Dragon Screen.
Stay at hotel.

+ Wutaishan (230km, 5h driving), B+L+D
Drive to Wutaishan (altitude: 2000 m). Visit Hanging
Monastery and the Wood Pagoda at Ying county on
the way. Overnight at hotel.

Full day visit to Wutaishan and it's temples. Transfer
to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

+ Taiyuan (240km, 5h driving) + Pingyao ( 110

Drive to Taiyuan, the capital city of Shanxi Province.
Visit Jinci Temple. Continue to Pingyao. Visit
Qiao Family's Courtyard, where the famous director
ZhangYimou shot his film "Wives and Concubines". Overnight at hotel.

Visit the well preserved City Wall of Pingyao,
ancient Ming and Qing Streets, site of the first
bank in China Rishengchang and Shuanglin Temple.
Bus to Taiyuan and fly to Xi'an. Overnight at
hotel.

Visit the Terra- cotta Warriors - the guards for
the tomb of Qinshihuang. Visit the Forest of Steles,
Muslim living quarters, the Big Mosque. Have a
banquet of dumplings for dinner and Tang Dynast
Dancing Show. Overnight at hotel.

Shanghai (2h flight), B+L+D
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Ancient
City Wal, the New Provincial Museum and fly
to Shanghai. Overnight at hotel.

Visit the Yuyuan Garden, the old city area, Shanghai
Museum, the Bund and Nanjing Road. Enjoy acrobatic
show at night. Overnight at hotel.

- Suzhou (80 km, 1h train) - Shanghai, B+L+D
Take the train to Suzhou, visit the Humble Administrator
Garden and the old village Tongli and the Garden
of Retreat and Retrospect. Visit the old canals
in the town. Return to Shanghai by train. Transfer.
Overnight at hotel.
