This Exciting & Intriguing Grand Expedition will take place in remote wilderness areas of Gobi desert, and Khangai Nuruu range. These remote places are home to wild camels, asses, the extremely rare Gobi bear , argali sheep, ibexes and the snow leopards. We will drive and explore the Gobi desert with 4000kms or more. We will explore the mystery, the vast beauty of Mongolia, and the land-based culture of its people, and natural places. 
 



Shargaljuut-with 300 hot and cold water springs.

This Grand Expedition requires a high degree of planning and preparation for the magical tours. In Ovorkhangai province, we will visit Karakorum, and Erdene Zuu monastery. In Bayankhongor province, we will visit and explore Shargaljuut-with 300 hot and cold water springs , Ikh Bodg mountain , and Orog lake. Also, we will have opportunities of viewing the strange figure that was created by aliens, birds and wild animals as well bactrian camel, to explore a cave once house Stone Age human beings 700, 000 years ago. In the Great South Gobi desert , we will explore Khermen Tsav-spectacular areas where many fossilized dinosaur bones and eggs have been found Zulganai-is one of the oases in Mongolia untouched by people, Naran-daats , Khongoryn Els-is the largest accumulation of sand in the Gobi , and Yolyn am Valley -Protected Area in Gobi Gurvan Shaikhan National Park . The Khangai scenery is lush and the travelling is difficult. Cars have a hard time. Don't go without plenty of water (you should buy it in Ulan Bator).

Drive to “Chinggis” tourist camp. Horseback riding tour on European-style saddles in the Sacred Tuul river valley. Visit a horse-breeder’s family. There are national gers in beautiful natural locations, so it's easy to meet with locals and see their daily lives, interact with them. Overnight in comfortable gers at the Tourist camp.

Hustain Nuruu

Overland to “Hustain Nuruu” National Reserve to see the Wild horses (Takhi horses), recently re-introduced back into Mongolia. Visit the park museum to learn about the history of the last pure wild horses in the world and the history of the area. Overnight in   gers at the Tourist camp.

Spend a day by the lake. The lake is just used for relaxing, bird watching and watching for camels. Exploration the semipresious stone of turguoise at the lake and the old graves of  “Chinggis” Khaan’s soldiers (close to the lake). Optional hiking to the sand dunes. Camping by the lake.

Continuing further drive to Khongoryn Els, is the largest accumulation of sand in the Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park. With an area over 900km² , it is one of the biggest areas of sand of Mongolia . They are 6-12 km wide and over 100km long. Camping, close to the foot of the dunes.
