This is the most interesting route. The active adventure
is complete; a brilliant and unforgettable experience on
an exciting combination of the Mongolian and Siberian railways,
across Russia down Irkustk-Baikal Lake to Mongolia by train
with stops at important cities along the way. We will visit
Irkutsk in the heart of Siberia. Lake Baikal is a highlight
of this region, and we take time to explore the natural
beauty of the surrounds by boat and on foot. This train
from Moscow to Irkustk has deluxe 2-berth compartments and
4-berth compartments, all very comfortable. Twin-share Rail
Supplement price is available only when two people travel
together. The total 7,621 km (4,735 miles) journey takes
51/2 days.

Moscow
Arrival in Moscow
from your country destination. Meet and and transfer from
the airport to the hotel. Overnight at Izmailovo Business
Class Hotel, 3

Day 2/
|
Aboard the Trans-Siberian Express Moscow-Irkustk
Breakfast at hotel. A free time to
visit Moscow (you can catch the metro to visit the Red Square,
the Kremlin and much more). In the late afternoon, from
the front of the hotel (check-out: 12:00m),
meet and transfer (included) to Moscow train station
(Yaroslavl). Aboard the Trans-Siberian
Express to Irkustk (odd - train No. 340, 13:35;
even - train No. 350, 13:35)/ even-train No. 10, 23:25).
On board the train travelling through Russia and into Irkustk.

Days 3-5/
|
Trans-Siberian Express Moscow-Ikrustk
On train-the train crosses from Europe
and Siberia into Asia. Across Russia with stops at important
cities along the way. Enjoy the scenery from the vantage
of the picture window in your compartment. Enjoy a cup of
hot tea. Nights by train.

Irkustk-Listvyanka village in Baikal lake
Arrival in Ikrkustk at 05.26AM (Moscow time)
or 10.26AM (local time) by train No. 340/350 or at 04.16AM
(Moscow time) or at 09.16AM (local time) by train No. 10 (even
days). Meet and transfer directly to Listvyanka village.
In route, visit "Taltsy" museum. Lunch in
local restaurant. Accommodation at hotel in Listvianka. (L)

Day 7
|
Baikal Lake-Irkustk
Breakfast at hotel. Excursion to Limnological museum
(Baikal museum), walking tour (trekking)
to Chersky peak. Lunch. Boat ride in Baikal
Lake (1 hour). In the afternoon, return to
Irkustk. Overnight in hotel, 3 .(B)(L)

Days 8-9
|
Daily Train from Irkustk-Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Breakfast. Free time. Transfer to Irkutsk railway station
and board the train (# 363, 21:00) along
the shores of Lake Baikal , the journey continues via Ulan
Ude city to Mongolia. Enjoy a cup of hot tea. Two nights by
train.

Ulaan Bataar
Arrive in UB, Mongolia
at 06:20AM. Meet and transfer to the hotel. Free time at hotel.
18:00-See Mongolian traditional folk songs and dance
concert. Welcome dinner at local restaurant. Overnight
at the 1st class Flower Hotel (D)

Day 11
|
Ulaan Bataar-"Terelj" National Park-Sacred "Nomad's Valley"
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning,
today is spent on a guided city tour of UB,
highlights include the visits to the Gandan Lamasery,
the largest Monastery in Mongolia (80 foot tall statue of
Buddha, practicing Tibetan Buddhist Lamas), the Sukhbataar
Main Square, the "Chinggis or Genghis "
Khan's main monument, the National History
Museum, where you will see artefacts from Mongolia
from the Stone Age to the present, and displays of the development
of Mongolian arts and culture. Luch in local restaurant.
After, drive to "Terelj" National Park
for a walking tour to Turtle Rock and hiking to
the "Arryabal" Buddhist temple on the top of the
mountain. This is a picturesque place of high cliffs eroded
in granites of Mesozoic age. After, drive to "Chinggis"
Tourist Ger Camp in the Sacred Nomad's Tuul river Valley
for dinner and overnight. In route, we will stop, to observe
and to take some amazing photos to the 40 meter
(~133,3 feet) Statue of "Chinggis or Genghis" Khan on a
big horse on Tsonjin Boldog Hill is located just
~3kms (~1,5miles) to "Chinggis" Tourist Traditional Ger
Camp. Welcome dinner with traditional Mongolian
meal (khorkhog), which is mutton cooked with hot
rock and with vegetables, water, potatoes, and onion. "Chinggis"
Tourist Camp is Highly recommended by "Lonely Planet Mongolia",

Day 12

Ulaanbaatar
Breakfast. Drive back to UB.
Transfer to the hotel. After, city tour of Ulaanbataar,
highlights include the Museum of Natural Historic,
where you will see two complete dinosaur skeletons, which
were found in the Gobi - the giant flesh-eating Tarbosaurus,
15m tall and four to five tons in weight, and the little
duck-billed plant-eating Saurolophus , and displays of Mongolia's
geography, flora and fauna, the Mongolian Last King's
Palace Museum, where are displayed unique art works
by Mongolian artists. Visit the Zaisan memorial
and the statue of Buddhas. Lunch in local restaurant.

13
|
Board the Trans-Mongolian Express to Beijing
Early in the
morning, after breakfast, transfer to Ulaanbaatar
railway station to board the Express train No. 24 to Beijing
at 08:50AM. You will travel from Ulan Bator
to Beijing in 33 1/2hours. Enjoy the scenery of the Gobi
desert and the Great Wall of China from the vantage of the
picture window in your compartment. Night by train. (B)

Beijing
Arrive at the
Beijing main train station at 15:35, we are
welcomed and transferred to the hotel. Free time. Overnight

Beijing
A highlight of
your Beijing stay will be today's walk along the Great
Wall of China with lunch. Return drive to Beijing.
Transfer to the hotel. Free time, (optional you can visit
and walking the distance of the largest square in the world
- the Tian'anmen Square and then into the Forbidden City-the
largest palatial museum in the world for the imperial residence
and imperial government) . Overnight at Courtyard Marriott

IS THE BEST TIME TO GO?:
Rusia, Mongolia and China are vasts! Generally, it is recommended
to pay your visit from May to September when the grass is
green.
The Naadam
Festival
in Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia is celebrated on July 11, and
12 (this an annual festival of culture, sports and trade
occurs during this time).
