"Chinggis" Tourist Camp
is located in the Southern Part of Gorkhi/Terelj National Park ( GPS: N47°49.893', E107° 31.339') in the beautiful
natural Tuul river Nomad's Sacred Valley of streams,
pine trees with mountains and steppes in the background , just 55km
(25miles) from Ulaanbaatar city (Mongolian
Map ) or (Small map)"

"Chinggis" Tourist Gers Camp, was inaugurated in July 2002 in memory of "Chinggis" Khaan's 840th Birthday Celebration!.
Location:
From Ulaan Baatar (UB) to "Chinggis" Tourist Camp is 51
km (25 miles) paved road and 4 km (2 miles) unpaved road , on the road
to Baganuur in the territory of Erdene soum, Tov aimag (province).
This lovely traditional tourist camp owned by Samar Magic Tours
LLC (Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism Mongolia License: ITO/48 "A"), lies on the bank of "Tuul" river between 107°31'29" Longitude and 47°49'32'' Latitude. The average altitude is 1446m (4338 feet) above sea level. "
A 40
meter (~133,3 feet) Statue of "Chinggis" Khaan on a big horse
on Tsonjin Boldog Hill is located just ~3kms (~1,5miles) to
"Chinggis" Tourist Camp.
On the Eastern fringe
of the Gorkhi/Terelj National Park,
about 50kms (~25miles) and just on the road to Baganuur, is "Chinggis"
Tourist Traditional Camp.
Around 15km (~7.5miles)
Southeast of the "Chinggis" Tourist Camp is an 8th-century Turkic Stele of Tonyukuk.
Around 10kms (~5miles) Southeast of the "Chinggis" Tourist Camp is a Zuun Mod Els (small sand dunes of 100 trees).
The XIII
Century Park is located just ~55kms /~25 miles/ to "Chinggis"
Tourist Camp, creates real-time micro kingdom to make the
lively feeling for its guests during their stay by Genuinely providing
true environment of the way of living and working of the XIII century.
Around 75km (~37 miles)
Eastern of the "Chinggis" Tourist Camp is Gun-Galuut
Nature Reserve that is

Viewing: The
River Tuul Nomad's Sacred Valley - The river Tuul is one
of the longest rivers of the country, flowing from the Khentii Mountain
Range. The valley of the river has been called sacred for centuries
by the nomads as they truly respect the nature especially the rivers
and the surface water. The beautiful valley in summer is often dotted
with traditional Mongolian gers and offers picturesque sceneries. There
are national gers in beautiful natural locations, so it's easy to meet
with nomads and see their daily lives, interact with them to learn more
about the lifestyle of Mongolian nomads, to show you theirs animal training,
feeding, milking, food preparation, etc, explore by horse riding, go
bird watching, take water adventures, go trekking or walking, go rock
climbing, flowers, butterflies, and taking amazing photos, etc. Enjoy
stars in the vast Mongolian night sky, when getting dark. Taste a real
Mongolian stone roast lamb barbeque "Khorkhog" or go swimming in the
"Tuul" river. Enjoy the view of this area, rich in wildflowers and berries
during summer season, enjoy the Tuul River . This

"CHINGGIS" TOURIST CAMP: Located in the Tuul Valley, this majestic setting with its green hills and flocks of sheep was reminiscent of Ireland. Most people
think of Mongolia as desert, and indeed, the southern part is. Here,
though, about 55 km eastern of Ulaan Baatar it was all hills, rivers,

"CHINGGIS" TOURIST CAMP: When we first arrived
in Ulaan Bataar it was late. All we wanted to do was get out of
UB and on to the steppe. The next morning we were walking down Peace
Street and came upon Samar Magic Tours. We went
in and saw their advert for "Chinggis" Tourist Camp. They said, "It has a great location in the beautiful natural Tuul
river Nomad's Sacred Valley of streams, pine trees, just 50km to
the South-eastern side of "Terelj" National Park and 55km from UB.
Our "Chinggis" Tourist Nomadic Camp, was inaugurated in July 2002
in memory of "Chinggis" Khaan's 840th Birthday Celebration!." Well
it was out of the budget but it was out of UB and looked
great. So we spent the next two days relaxing on
the great Mongolian Steppe at the "Chinggis" Tourist Traditional
Gers Camp.
