Highlights of Mongolia:

The 40 meter /~133,3 feet Genghis Khan Statue on horseback: (55km/34miles) N/E of the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar. The statue is symbolically pointed east towards his birthplace. It is on top of the Genghis Khan Statue Complex, a visitor center, itself 10 meters (32 ft 10 in) tall, with 36 columns representing the 36 khans from Genghis to Ligdan Khan. Visitors walk to the head of the horse through its chest and neck of the horse, where they can have a panoramic view.

Gorkhi/Terelj National Park: The valley is about 20kms/12miles long at 1600m. This picturesque National Park is a part of Khan Khentii Strictly Protected Area. It is a great place for hiking, trekking, even you can rock climb here at its natural steep granite walls. Explore the Turtle shaped original giant rock - symbol of Terelj National Park. Walking & Trekking to Arryabal Meditation Temple, on the top of the small hill.

Ogii Lake (Ugii Nuur)-is a wonderful place for birdlife (cranes and ducks, to name just a few species, migrate to the area around late April & May). This a freshwater lake located in the valley of the Orkhon river, at 1, 387 meters above sea level in Arkhangai province. Ugii lake (Ogii lake) is also renowned for its fishing. It covers 25 square kilometers, and is rich in Perch and Pike. Swan Goose, White Spoonbill and Dalmatian Pelican have been recorded. Relaxing, fishing, boating, hiking, or horseback riding.

Orkhon Waterfall-is situated in Ovorkhangai province, in the historically significant Orkhon Valley, whose river flows an incredible 1120kms/696 miles to the North before it joins the mighty Selenge river. Also called Ulaan Tsutgalan, the waterfall was formed by a unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes about 20,000 years ago. The fall is naturally most impressive after heavy rain.

Tsenkher hot springs-is located in Tsenkher sum, Arkhangai province. Tsenkher hot springs-have healing properties notably on articular diseases and nervous system's diseases. Heat of the water reaches 86 celsius degree (65-90C). Relaxing and enjoy baths in Tsenkher Hot Spa.

Hustain Nuruu National Park of the Wild Horses Przewaslki or Takhi (as known by the Mongolians): The Takhi is the last species of wild horse left on the planet. In 1878, the Polish-born Russian geographer and naturalist Nikolai Mikhailovich Przewaslki found a new species of wild horse in Mongolia, known locally as Takhi, and took several foals to European zoos. The only way to prevent the complete extinction of the last species of wild horse was to reintroduce it into the wild. In 1975, the Dutchman Ian Bouman and his wife, and other entities that joined later, created the Foundation for the Conservation and Protection of the Przewalski Horse (FPPPH), with the aim of saving the Tahki from extinction through acclimatization. of the zoo specimens in open field pastures, for later release into the wild. In 1992, the FPPPH brought the first 15 horses to the Hustain Nuruu area in Mongolia, to reintroduce them to their original habitat.
