Day 1

Main Itinerary in details:
Arrival
in Ulaanbaatar (D)
Upon your arrival in Ulaan Baatar (UB), capital of Mongolia, you will be met at the airport
or in UB Railway Station and are transferred to the hotel. Free time at hotel. 18:00-Attend the Evening Mongolian traditional folk songs and dance concert. Have welcome dinner at local restaurant
featuring Mongolian and Western specialties. Overnight
at Bayangol hotel,4
or similar.

Day 2
|
Ulaanbaatar-Tuul River Nomad's Sacred Valley-Chinggis Tourist Camp (B/L/D)
Breakfast. In the morning, visit Gandan Lamasery, the largest
Monastery in Mongolia (80 foot tall statue of Buddha, practicing
Tibetan Buddhist Lamas), the buddhist ceremony at 10:00am
and experience the Tibetan-Buddhist tradition. Afterward, visit the Main Square, the "Genghis" Khan's main monument, the National History Museum, where you will see artefacts from Mongolia from the Stone Age to the present, and displays of the development of Mongolian arts and culture. Lunch in local restaurant. Afterward, drive to the "Tuul river Nomad's Sacred Valley" (55kms/27.5miles)-this is a beautiful valley
of streams. There are national gers in beautiful natural locations,
so it's easy to meet with locals and see their daily lives,
interact with them, explore, take water adventures, go trekking,
swimming in the Tuul river. The beautiful valley in summer
is often dotted with traditional Mongolian gers and offers
picturesque sceneries. In route, we stop to observe and to
take some amazing photos to the 40 meter (~133,3 feet) Statue
of "Chinggis" Khan on a big horse-it is located just ~3kms (~1,5miles) to "Chinggis" Tourist
Traditional Base Camp. Welcome dinner with traditional mongolian
meal (khorkhog), which is mutton cooked with hot rock and
with vegetables, water, potatoes, and onion. Overnight in
"Chinggis" Tourist Base Ger Camp. Have your first ger camp
experience. "Chinggis" Tourist Traditional Ger Base Camp is
Highly recommended by "Lonely Planet Mongolia" by the author
Michael Kohn.

Day 3
|
Gorkhi/Terelj National Park (B/L/D)
Breakfast. Today, we drive to "Gorkhi/Terelj" National Park for a walking tour to Turtle Rock and hiking to the "Arryabal" Buddhist monastery on the top of the mountain. It is famous for its amazing rock formations, pristine alpine scenery and varied bird life. The Terelj National Park incorporates parts of Khenty Mountain Range. The forest consists of Aspen, Larch and Birch trees which support wolf, eagles, birds, and others animals. Explore the 100 Lamas cave, where 100 Lamas hide from the soviets repression. Picnic lunch is provided. In the afternoon, drive back to "Chinggis" tourist base ger camp. Free time for Mongolian archery, etc. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4
|
Bagazarin Chuluu-Sum Khukh Burd Temple (B/L/D)
Breakfast. Drive by Super 4x4 to Bagazarin Chuluu in the Middle Gobi (~260kms) . We recommend you take a walk around the Bagazarin Chuluu. On the way visit ruins of Sum Khukh Burd Temple, one of the few monasteries and temples to survive the communist purges in 1930s. Boxed lunch on the way. Free time for photo opportunities and hiking. Overnight in tourist base ger camp.

Day 5
|
Gobi desert 4WD Expedition: Gobi Gurvan Shaikhan National Park (B/L/D)
Breakfast. Drive by Super 4x4 to "Yol Valley Protected Area in Gobi Gurvan Shaikhan National Park or Vulture's mouth" (~210kms) for trekking to beautiful gorge and an opportunity to photograph the stunning landscape, the Gobi Glacier and the wildlife of the cradled in the foothills of the Altai Mountains. Hike through the valley before visiting the local natural history museum for an overview of the flora and fauna of the area (*do not include the horseback riding or the camel riding-optional payment on site!). Afterward, drive to visit the camel family. Enjoy Nomad hospitality. Visit a camel-breeding farm to get introduce to their lifestyle and taste the khoormog, camel milk. Optional camel riding (*do not include the camel riding-optional payment on site!). Overnight in tourist base ger camp.

Day 6
|
Gobi desert 4WD Expedition: to the largest sand dunes Hongoryn Els
(B/L/D)
Breakfast. Drive by Super 4x4 to the largest sand dunes Hongoryn Els in Gobi desert (~180kms). It is the biggest sand dunes in Mongolia and lasts 200kms and app. 40-50 ms high. Has an extraordinary length of 180 kms and 15-20 m. Climb up the towering piles of sand standing hundreds of metres high and later walk along Hongor River. Wildlife here includes ibex and gazelle and rare wild camels. See the largest sand dunes. Bactrian Camel (two-humped) Safari tour (*included one hour of camel riding). Visit to camel herder's ger, see the nomadic lifestyle. Overnight in tourist base ger camp.

Day 7
|
Fly to Ulaanbaatar (B/L/D)
Breakfast. In the morning, transfer by Super 4x4 to Dalandzadagad, Gobi desert local airport (~180kms). In the afternoon, fly back to Ulaanbaatar. Meet and transfer to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant. Accommodation at Bayangol hotel,4 o similar.

Day 8
|
UB city tour (B/L/D)
A full day of sightseeing in the city including the Natural Museum, where you will see two complete dinosaur skeletons, which were found in the Gobi - the giant flesh-eating Tarbosaurus, 15m tall and four to five tons in weight, and the little duck-billed plant-eating Saurolophus, and displays of Mongolia's geography, flora and fauna, the "Bogd Khan" Winter Palace-home to Mongolia's last Khan, Damba Khutugt 8th, the war memorial "Zaisan" Hill to get your bearings with a panoramic view of the whole city and the Buddha's statue and the Zanabazar Fine Arts Museum, known as one of the best collections of Buddhist art and artifacts in the world. Lunch in local restaurant. There will be time for art and cashmere shopping. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the Bayangol hotel,4 or similar.

Fly Ulaanbaatar-Beijing

Breakfast. Transfer to the UB airport. Fly to Beijing. Meet and transfer to the hotel. Free time in your own in Beijing. Overnight at New World Courtyard Marriott hotel ,4 or atl Novotel Xinqiao hotel,4 or at Beijing Jade Garden hotel, 4 or similar.

Day 10

Fly Beijing-Lhasa

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to airport for flight
to Lhasa (CA4112 09:15/15:05). Arrival at Lhasa, capital
of Tibet. Upon your arrival at Gonggar airport you will be received
and driven along the banks of the Yarlung river to Lhasa.
Check - in at Lhasa hotel 4 or at Shambala hotel,3 (in two options). Spend the rest of the day getting
used to the altitude.

Days 11-12
|
Lhasa
(B/L/D)
These two days will be spent discovering Lhasa - its magnificent
palace residences, Monasteries & quaint bazaars. You will
see the famous Potala Palace, which was constructed in 637
by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of the united Tibet and
later served as the winter residence of the Dalai Lamas,
Norbulinka Palace-which means the garden of treasures in
Tibetan language. Located in the west suburbs of Lhasa,
this palace complex was built in the 18th century and served
as the summer residence of the Dalai Lamas, Sera Monastery
as well as the Jokhang monastery-the center of the Tibetan
Buddhism and the sacred land of Buddhist followers where
innumerable pilgrims come for worship everyday. The temple,
built in 647, is the earliest wood-and-masonry structure
still existing in Tibet. Walk through the narrow lanes of
Barkhor, the old market place of Lhasa, which has remained
unchanged for centuries. Overnight at Lhasa
hotel,4 or at Shambala hotel, 3 (in two options).

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport for departure Lhasa, Tibet
to your new destination (*not included the departure flight-on
