This is one of the most fascinating grand routes in Mongolia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, we departed <strong>northeast<\/strong> to visit the <strong>Equestrian Statue of &#8220;Genghis\u00b4\u00b4 Khan<\/strong>. At the base of the statue, visitors can view the replica of the legendary Golden Whip of the Great Khan. Tourists may take an elevator inside the statue, with the exit at the level of &#8220;<strong>Genghis\u00b4\u00b4 Khan\u2019s<\/strong> thigh, from where it is possible to walk up to the horse\u2019s head for a panoramic view of the steppe. We will also visit a small museum, located in the basement of the Equestrian Statue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afterward, departure to <strong>Gorkhi\/Terelj National Park<\/strong>, located 1600 m above sea level, with high Mesozoic granite rocks, mountains, steppes, alpine forests, and curious rock formations such as <strong>Turtle Rock<\/strong> or the Reading Monk. The Park lies at the foot of the Khentii Mountains, the region where &#8220;Genghis\u00b4\u00b4 Khan was born.
