Please be
aware that we are a very seasonal business. In Winter time,
we will not take orders, because is slow due to the logistics
of making Gers in a Mongolian Hard Winter Condition. Spring,
Summer and Autum are very busy times.

NATIONAL CARVED FURNITURE
The
National Furniture included: two beds,
one low table, four chairs, one cabinet , two storage chests
(for clothes and bed clothes), and one Buddha shrine.
Technical Details about the Mongolian Ger: The
felt insulation and the efficient shape of the ger allow
it to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter with
little heat. A ger has a ventilation flap over the center
hub that can be adjusted from the ground with ropes, and
on hot days the sides can be rolled up so cool air can enter
to replace the hot air that exits from the top. Mongolians
use a small wood or coal stove for cooking and heat that
vents through the center hub. A ger is well engineered with
a very strong internal structure. The center hub is supported
by two poles, and then there are so many rafter poles the
load is spread evenly around the wall. The ropes around
the circumference keep the walls from moving.

Payment
Method and Terms:
Ordering
Your Mongolian Ger (Order and the payment method):
To place an order, payment accepted is Bank Wire Transfer
direct to our account at Mongolia Bank for 70%
of the purchase price. We do not accept payment by MasterCard,
Visa or by check.
Balance
of the payment: Balance of 30%
of purchase price to be paid prior to shipping from Mongolia.
Deposit are non-refundable. Please see below for our definition
of a non-refundable deposit. In the payment is included
the Mongolian VAT and are subject to alteration without
prior notice. Orders can only be taken with a 70% deposit,
and cannot be held prior to receiving deposit. Balance to
be paid at time of collection.
About
your deposit:
Our definition of a non-refundable deposit is: Only
in the event that we are unable to deliver your GER to you
everywhere in the World will a refund be considered. In
the event that we are unable to deliver the Ger (yurt) you ordered,
within the designated shipment, we will be happy to offer
you a full refund including the cost of any transfer fees
you have incurred.
Delivery Delivery Schedules are estimates:
We will of course endeavour to get your GER to you as soon
as possible, however this is dependent upon manufacturing
times and the Mongolian Transport Companies schedules. Mongolian
Artisans's Aid Foundation cannot be held responsible for
shipping times.
IMPORTANT
NOTICE: Please note that all costs associated with
processing payment to us, including escrow and bank transfer
fees are to be paid by the purchaser.
GERS BULK
ORDER: Would we be able to receive a bulk discount if we
purchase number of units at a time ?: We have
special rates for those interested in purchasing GERS in
bulk. To qualify for GERS BULK rates you need to purchase
a minimum of TEN GERS. Although the final number does to
a very large degree depend on the size and complexity of
your order.
