The Trans-Mongolian Railway is the main railway connection between Mongolia, Russia, and China. The route is actually a branch of the Trans-Siberian, entering Mongolia, arriving in Ulaanbaatar, and continuing across the entire Gobi Desert, crossing the Mongolia–China border, where it joins the Chinese railway system.

Payment Method: Only after your requested train ticket has been confirmed, full net payment is required immediately in order to guarantee your train ticket, by bank transfer. At the date of publication of this brochure, this handling fee is USD 50.00 via bank transfer (*transfer costs are at the client’s expense, due to deductions by the Intermediary Bank and the Mongolian Bank). TRAIN TICKET CANCELLATION: In the case of train ticket cancellations, this is a separate matter. Train ticket fares are subject to modifications depending on availability at the time of booking. Fares are only guaranteed once the tickets are issued and fully paid. Tickets are non-refundable and can only be cancelled on the same day of issuance.
