During the tourist season in Mongolia (*from May to October), all trains travel fully booked and there are no available seats. The Trans-Mongolian Railway is the main railway connection between Mongolia, Russia, and China. The route is actually a branch of the Trans-Siberian, entering Mongolia, arriving in Ulaanbaatar, and continuing across the entire Gobi Desert, crossing the Mongolia–China border, where it joins the Chinese railway system.

Very Important: It is required to send a copy of a valid passport by email (*with a minimum validity of 6 months). A Mongolian visa must be arranged before departure.
Payment Method: Only after your requested train ticket has been confirmed, full net payment is required immediately in order to guarantee your train ticket.
1) By bank transfer. Please request our bank account details from us. As of the date of this brochure, the handling fee for bank transfers is €55.00 / US$65.00 (*transfer costs are to be borne by the client, covering deductions made by the intermediary bank and the Mongolian bank).
2) Payment can also be made via credit card (online payment). We accept the following cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and UnionPay. Please note that you must cover the additional charges imposed by the Mongolian bank for credit card payments, which typically amount to approximately 4.0% of the transaction value.
TRAIN TICKET CANCELLATION: In the case of train ticket cancellations, this is a separate matter. Train ticket fares are subject to modifications depending on availability at the time of booking. Fares are only guaranteed once the tickets are issued and fully paid. Tickets are non-refundable and can only be cancelled on the same day of issuance.
